To implement state program of Russian schools internetization, OPTEN cable is utilized.
Since 2006, a stress on total connection of Russian schools to Internet broadband access has been made in education.
This is rather complicated task for us, because 52 thousand schools will be connected", - said Dmitry Medvedev, first deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, chairman of the Presidium of Council on national projects implementation.
For pupils of comprehensive secondary school especially country ones, this is a chance to find themselves directly in the best worldwide libraries and museums, and no payment for virtual travels, all expenses are undertaken by budget.
